Suraj Kumar, a BTech student of D.Y. Patil College, Pune, was returning home one evening at around 5:30 along with two of his friends. The roads were not very crowded, and as they approached a crossroads, they suddenly heard the loud screech of car brakes. Suraj noticed that a young boy playing with his bicycle had fallen down, with a car stopping just behind him. A crowd began to gather and started blaming the driver, but Suraj quickly rushed forward, controlled the situation, and prevented the people from crowding around. He checked the boy and found that he had only a few minor scratches. Suraj asked one of his friends to bring bandages and some chocolates from a nearby medical shop, while with the help of his other friend, he dispersed the crowd and reassured the frightened boy.
