My SSB journey has been a long one, filled with learning, failures, self-doubt, and growth. What truly changed the direction of my preparation was joining SSBpsych and understanding that SSB is not about acting like an officer, but becoming aware of who you already are.
From the very beginning, the focus was on clarity of thought, self-analysis, and real-life application rather than mugging up answers. Activities like Calendar Analysis, Wear Your Medals, Story Writing structure, and regular mock interactions helped me connect my life experiences with SSB requirements in a practical way.
The biggest difference was the approach towards psychology, GTO, and Interview. Instead of teaching “what to say,” the guidance was about why you think the way you do and how to improve it. Continuous feedback made me realise my mistakes, work on my weak areas, and build confidence step by step.
The environment at SSBpsych, learning alongside serious aspirants from different backgrounds, also played a major role in improving my group behaviour, communication, and decision-making.
